The Alumni of Chung Cheng High School was officially established in 1982. Since then, we have organised various activities for alumni to participate in.

In March 1983, the Chinese Calligraphy Research Association and various parties held a concert at the Victoria Memorial Hall. On September 2, the "Yan Lu's Last Exhibition" was co-organised with the Chinese Calligraphy Research Society at the National Museum Gallery. The chairman Yang Ziguo presided over the opening.
On July 14, the 45th Anniversary Gala of the school was hosted in the Chung Cheng Auditorium. From September 1st to 4th, Alumni Association jointly organised the "Chung Cheng Alumni Calligraphy Exhibition" with the Chung Cheng Board of Directors and the Zhuang Zhulin Scholarship Committee in the exhibition room of the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce which raised more than $100,000 for the Zhuang Zhulin Scholarship.
On July 26th, alumnus Liu Thai Ker who was the Director of Housing Development Bureau, was invited to give a lunch speech "Living in Singapore". On September 18, an alumni mid-autumn celebration was held by the lake.
On February 14th, the Alumni Spring Festival Gala was held at the Neptune Theatre, and Mr. Ong Teng Chong, the deputy Prime Minister of Singapore, was the guest speaker.
On August 1, alumni participated in the board meeting of the school on the establishment of an autonomous school.
On March 31st, due to outstanding performance in the 1987 “O” levels, the Alumni Association held a special "Teachers Appreciation" event.
On April 29, the "Teachers’ Appreciation Banquet" was held again in celebration of the excellent results of the school's Secondary Four ‘O’ levels examination.
From June 2nd to 5th, the Alumni Association jointly organised the "Chen Hong Calligraphy Exhibition" in the Great Hall of the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce with the Chinese Art Research Association.
On July 16, the 50th Anniversary Gala Dinner was held jointly with the school's board of directors, to raise funds for the school. More than $30,000 was donated.
On January 7th, the 8th Anniversary Dinner was held at the Neptune Theatre. On that night, $10,000 was donated to the National Day Charity Fund, a fund established by the government.
On May 26th, the "Teachers’ Appreciation Banquet" was held. In June of the same year, the school jointly organised the "Drama Night" at the Chinese Cultural Festival. On November 5th, a concert was held to raise funds for the school building fund.
On June 22, Chung Cheng High Alumni held a concert at the Singapore Conference Hall as part of the Chinese Cultural Festival program, and $30,000 was donated to the school.
On September 17th, "Hong Ze Min Violin recital" was held at Victoria Theatre.
On April 25, the "Teachers’ Appreciation Banquet" was held. On June 30th, the crosstalk night was hosted at the Chinese Cultural Festival.
From December 5th to 6th, "Concert of Chinese Songs Ye Quling and Liu Yumei" was held in the Singapore Conference Hall, and $20,000 was raised for the school building fund.
From June 4th to 6th, the "Chung Cheng Alumni Teachers and Students Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition" was held in the exhibition hall of the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts during the Chinese Cultural Festival.
On July 9, the "Teachers’ Appreciation Banquet" was held again. On September 26, in conjunction with the school’s 54th anniversary, a series of activities were held, including: Thousand People Banquet on the campus of the main school, a fishing contest at the lake, and the publication of a special issue "Lakeside Echoes", etc. and $30,000 was raised for the school building fund.
On January 23rd, the "Lin Jingjing, Hong Ze Min Piano and Violin Concert" was held in the Victoria Concert Hall, and $4,000 was raised for the school building fund.
On March 18th, the Chinese Cultural Festival and the school jointly organised the "Singing Feeling Music Evening" in the Singapore City Hall.
On May 27th, the "Teachers’ Appreciation Banquet" was held, and a commemorative shield was awarded to the headmaster Cai Hanzhang and five retired teachers.
From October 4th to 9th, a play was put up to raise funds for the second and third phases of school building expansion.
On December 4th, we co-organised a talk by Professor Liang Shu An with the Singapore Writers Association.
On February 8th, the New Year Gala Dinner was held. In addition, from February 25th to 27th, the "Painting Appreciation Lecture and Exhibition" was organised at the Chinese Cultural Festival.
From March 4th to 5th, "Teacher Tian Mingen Memorial Concert" was held at Victoria Concert Hall.
In June of the same year, alumni teamed up to participate in the National Alumni Men’s Table Tennis Championships and won the first runners up. On July 29th, the "Teachers Appreciation Banquet" was held.
From March 15th to 17th, a painting exhibition was held at Singapore Conference Hall to raise $60,600 for Zhuang Zhulin Scholarship.
In June 1996, the alumni participated in the second “National Alumni Association Table Tennis Championships" organised by the NTU Graduates Association and won the championship. In September, the "Teachers Appreciation Banquet" was held.
On November 12, the "Lin Jingjing, Hong Ze Min Piano and Violin recital" was held in the Victoria Concert Hall.
On November 30th, a new book signature and symposium were held for the book "Drama and Life" by the famous alumnus Low Ing Sing.
On February 28th, the Chinese New Year’s Gala Dinner to welcome the year of the Ox was held, and tokens of appreciation were presented to four alumni who stepped down from their duties: Zhuang Rikun, He Jialiang, Li Yusheng, and Gao Liren.
In June of the same year, we hosted and won the "3rd National Alumni Association Men's Table Tennis Championships" championship.
On July 19, in conjunction with the 58th anniversary of the school, the "Alumni Back to School Day" was held. The programs included: "Calligraphy Exhibition and Nostalgic Photo Exhibition", Thousand People Banquet by the Lake, etc. The Charity Exhibition and the 1000-pax banquet raised about $17,000 and $22,250 respectively for the school building fund.
On July 31st, "Lu Yingchun and Han Zheyuan Concert" was held in Victoria Concert Hall.
Founding President Yang Ziguo retired, and the new president Chia Ban Seng took over. On April 30, the "Teachers’ Appreciation Banquet" was held.
From December 25th to 27th, a Calligraphy Exhibition was held in the exhibition hall of the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce which raised about $60,000 for the Zhuang Zhulin Scholarship.
On February 28th, a New Year's Gala was held in the school auditorium. From May 4th to 11th, "Pan Chun, Lin Jingjing Piano recital" was held in Victoria Concert Hall.
From June 24th to 25th, "Living in the Lake" was hosted at the Victoria Concert Hall.
On September 3, the "Thousand People Banquet" was organised for celebration of the 60th anniversary of the school as well as the 18th anniversary of the establishment of the Alumni Association.
On February 13th, the "Millennium New Year Gala" was held in the auditorium of the school.
On April 29, the "Teachers’ Appreciation Banquet" was held.
In July, the Alumni association launched the website: www.chungchengalumni.com. Website included school historical sites, list of directors, event information, membership form, list of notable alumni and school song.
On February 4th, in conjunction with the completion of school’s campus expansion and celebration of the Lunar New Year, a CNY reunion event was held by the lakeside of the school.
On May 20th, a Woodball team was established, under the responsibility of General Manager Ang Kwang Liang. A woodball demonstration at Chung Cheng High School, presided over by Mr. Xu Jinwan, President of the Singapore Wooden Ball Association, was done.
On May 27th, the alumni organised a Hokkaido/Tokyo trip, led by Han Zheyuan and Ang Kwang Liang.
From July 21st to September 22nd, the Alumni Association held a calligraphy and engraving class in the classroom of the main school, under the guidance of Mr. Zhang Qidong and Wang Ruixian.
The Alumni Association Chinese Orchestra was also established this year. There were more than forty members. Teacher Zhang Xiuqing of the Chung Cheng High School (Main) volunteered as the coordinator. The conductor is Mr. Huang Wencai.
On January 27th, the Executive Council for 2002/2003 was elected. Alumnus Chia Ban Seng continued to serve as President.
On February 17th, a New Year’s gala was held in the Chung Cheng High School (Main). About 500 alumni attended. The number was more than the previous years. Many of them were young and middle-aged alumni and some alumni from overseas.
On March 24th, the "Exchange of Poetry and Songs" was co-organised with the Singapore Arts and Culture Society. Reciters include Wu Jieling, Zhang Ailing, Huang Yongqiang of FM958, etc., and guest of honour Li Hao attended this exchange. The Alumni association donated S$1000.00 as the cost of this event for Li Hao Choir.
From September 1st to 8th, an eight-day trip to Kunming/Dali/Lijiang/Zhongdian was organised.
On September 15, Wang Ruixian, deputy secretary of the Association, hosted an "ancient lecture" lecture in Chayuan, with the topic "Challenging Life". The day happened to be the Mid-Autumn Festival, so apart from tea appreciation and the talk, everyone had the opportunity to enjoy moon cakes. Most of the attendees were young alumni.
On September 23rd, the alumni hosted another lecture at Chung Cheng High (Main). The deputy secretary Wang Ruixian gave a lecture on "The Necessary Weapon for a Successful Life", and the famous linguist Zhu Bingquan gave a lecture on "Language Fun". The target audience of the lecture were the current students in the school.
On February 15th, the New Year Gala Dinner was held at the school lake, with a total of 60 seats. Guests include: alumni, younger students and enrolled students, past and current principals of schools, teachers, alumni from China, etc. The scene was lively. The programmes at the dinner included students’ performances, alumni dance performances, and the very first chorus performance of the alumni choir, etc.
On July 6th, in line with the 64th anniversary of the establishment of the school, the two deputy secretaries of the Association, Chen Yinglai and Wang Ruixian, sponsored food and books as well as artworks, to support the charity sale of the school carnival. The three charity sale portfolios raised more than $2,000 activity funds for the school.
On August 10th, a team of about 40 people from the Aitong Alumni Association visited the history museum of the school. It was hosted by the Alumni, and the school appointed teachers and students as docents.
From December 5th to 10th, the "Lakeside Art Exhibition" was held at the Ngee Ann Cultural Center. President Chia Ban Seng presided over the opening ceremony for the exhibition.
On December 12th, the "Voice of the Dragon" concert was hosted at the Victoria Concert Hall by Australian tenor singers: Yu Jixing, Du Jigang and Xie Kun, accompanied by Singapore's famous pianist Wang Lida. The concert raised about $20,000 of event funds for our choir.
On February 1st, Chinese New Year’s celebration was held in the auditorium. There were lion dance performances by the school, the Chinese Orchestra, choir solo and flute solo. The alumni guests joined in the singing of the new year songs.
On March 8th, we held an Annual General Meeting, President Chia Ban Seng handed the reins over to Chen Yinglai.
From May 7th to 8th, our choir participated in the large-scale public performance "Lake Odessey" held at the Esplanade's 65th anniversary at the Esplanade.
On October 3rd, our choir held a learning journey at the Young Musicians Association. Many of the members of the group and friends of the music industry and friends from the music industry attended.
From October 28th to 31st, an art exhibition was held in the exhibition hall of the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce. With the support of the community and many alumni, the art exhibition was a success.
On December 5th, the alumni association hosted the "Common Infant Diseases" lecture by alumni Dr. Pan Guangwu.
Chinese New Year Gala Dinner was held on 19 February in the Grand Auditorium. The alumni association announced the establishment of the Youth Alumni at the dinner.
On March 13th, the alumni association co-organised the "History of Chinese School", and many visited the History Museum of Chung Cheng High School (Main) and Nanyang Girls' High School.
On June 30th, the new campus of Chung Cheng Yishun was opened and President Chen Yinglai was invited to preside over the opening ceremony with the school management committee.
On February 15th, the Chinese New Year's celebration was held at the new Chung Cheng Yishun. The programmes include student performances, choirs and dance performances.
On March 19, Alumni Association held the Annual General Meeting to elect the executive council for 2006/2007, and Chen Yinglai was re-elected as chairman.
On July 22nd, a gala party was held at the Expo Center to celebrate the 67th anniversary of the school and the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the alumni association. There were performances by the students from both the schools and the alumni choir.
On September 23rd, our choir held a public performance for Victoria Concert Hall, which was well received.
On November 29th, the Youth Alumni hosted a graduate farewell party with more than 200 students from the graduating class.
The Chinese New Year's Reunion was held on March 4, 2007. More than 400 people attended. At the same time, we invited Mr Ch'ng Jit Koon as the guest of honour, to preside over the opening ceremony of the Alumni Association located in the Innosphere.
On the evening of May 18, 2007, a concert was held at the Victoria Concert Hall - Teacher Tian Mingen's Memorial Concert.
On July 22nd, the "Translation and Interpretation" lecture was hosted at Chung Cheng High School (Main). The lecturer Mr. Li Chengye, is a well-known Chinese translator, and the event attracted many professionals and students in this field.

On August 17th, the concert of "Yellow River Chorus" was held and presented with unprecedented success. The sold-out event received many good reviews.
The Alumni Association participated in the inaugural "Chinese School History Joint Exhibition" from November 29th to December 6th, 2008. This is the first time that the history of the school is jointly organised by multiple alumni associations.
