On the 20th of April 2024 (Saturday), the Chung Cheng Alumni put together a Homecoming Lunch in line with our school’s 85th Anniversary. This event saw the return of generations of former students to the CCHM campus, many of whom are well into their 70s or 80s! It was indeed a heartwarming sight to behold, as our seniors down through the years went around taking photos of the campus, reminiscing about their schooling days and wondering what has changed since they graduated.
Our friends from the Performing Arts, Lion Dance and Festival Drums across both CCHM and CCHY also put up various performances and had the festive vibes reverberating throughout the school.
Minister for Education, Mr Chan Chun Sing, graced the occasion and expressed his heartfelt wishes for the Chung Cheng family of schools. Along with Minister Chan were invited guests from our list of former Principals, retired staff and friends of Chung Cheng. None of this would have been possible if not for the tireless work of our staff, student leaders and performers, and of course the Chung Cheng Alumni.
